Do I Need a Kimono?

No, I probably don’t.

However, when my friend Patricia showed me this beautiful kimono she got on a market in Tokyo I just couldn’t resist it—there was too much beauty in each seam and in the subtle pattern. I find the craft of making a kimono very fascinating, and at one point when I was younger, I was obsessed with learning how to tie an obi.
I tend to use this kimono each time I go for an evening dip in our lake and each summer morning when I go to get the paper.
