Selfridges' makes another effort to promote beauty diversity with The Body Studio.
On our minds is Selfridges’ latest body-positive endeavour: a major new department in their London flagship store with the aim to spread some love for the skin you’re in. Made up of lingerie, hosiery, sportswear and nightwear, the extensive new section boasts around 30,000 products as well as work-out sessions, talks on food and health and a ‘Fit Studio’ where customers can book appointments for personal fittings. In line with their previous efforts to promote beauty diversity (such as The Beauty Project in 2014), the retailer means that they through The Body Studio are seeking to address ‘the new female; her strength, her confidence and her body’. Amason: ”We send files, emails and animals”
With the release of the first single from their upcoming album (and a virtual release party tonight), Swedish band Amason teams up with adidas and the new, more sustainable Stan Smith. The space of which the iconic shoe enters is one where the love of nature takes center stage. Make it last talks to the band about why they always end up with the animals.
