On our minds: Uniqlo’s hijab collection

Uniqlo's hijab collection is spreading and will soon also be available in the UK.
On our minds is Uniqlo’s range of hijabs. Launched already in July last year, the retailer was the first major high street brand to introduce religious wear into their offering, and though it was designed by UK born and bred Hana Tajima, the range was only made available in Malaysia. The second launch however, also designed by Tajima, was announced last week and will supposedly be available for sale in the UK. Combining modest dress true to Muslim tradition with diverse fashion-forward prints and patterns, the range is designed with young Western-raised Muslims in mind. See more pictures from the campaign, modelled by the designer herself, here.
