On our minds: Zara's "Ungendered" collection
On our minds is Zara, which just quietly debuted a gender neutral range. The collection, named “Ungendered”, is part of the retailer’s TRF label and comprises of 16 seasonless basics in neutral colourways covering tops and bottoms including jeans, sweats, shorts and t-shirts. To further emphasise the garments unisex appeal, all items are modelled by both a male and a female model on the site. Though we cheer this high street contribution for recognising non-gendered fashion, we would love to see Zara (and other retailers) move beyond the basics and explore more diverse unisex styles. See the full range here.
