This label is incorporating recycled paper into fashion.

On our minds is Cartina, a Tuscany-based label on a quest to incorporate recycled paper into fashion. And their item of choice, shoes, is – even with conventional materials – one of the most complicated fashion products to make. The innovative startup makes Stan Smith and Converse-nodding sneakers said to have all the functional characteristics of leather shoes being waterproof, durable and even more lightweight.
