On our minds: Democratic front row

Stylist Bea Åkerlund and pop duo Rebecca and Fiona have given up their seats at the Ida Klamborn show in Stockhom today – in favour of a streaming robot installation.

On our minds is the upcoming Ida Klamborn show at Fashion Week in Stockholm which will be live streamed in the hope of reaching out to more young fans. One of Sweden’s most prominent fashion stylists Bea Åkerlund and pop duo Rebecca and Fiona have given up their seats in favour of a streaming robot installation that is to symbolise young people and youth culture, which the designer states being a key inspiration for her designs. The robot will allow anyone to tune in to the front row and through an app give approving “likes” to the looks they like the most which will cause the robot to light up and measure consumer engagement in real time. The live stream can be accessed on
Wednesday 3rd February at 17.15 CET from here.
