Emma Elwin started her journey to detox her apartment today.
Today we are doing some work on the apartment! Since I am trying to do a detox on all the materials that we have here I just bought this linseed oil paint today. So in a minute it is time for our baseboards to get a make over. The linseed oil that I got is a better choice than Acrylic paint. Research shows a strong link between asthma, various new allergies, and other airway diseases. Here is a new study conducted by a USA, Swedish and German research team completed in 2010. The conclusion was that Acrylic paint and other material containing acrylic can be very dangerous. So of the benefits with buying linseed oil is that flax can be grown and does not have a bad impact on our environment and resources. Linseed oil decomposes naturally without leaving harmful residues in nature and the linseed Oil can be applied without addition of solvent.
