On our minds: Veganuary

High profile vegans join forces with UK-based movement Veganuary that wants to make us all go vegan for the month of January.

On our minds is Veganuary, the UK-based movement that wants to make us all go vegan for the month of January. The benefits of a meat and dairy-free diet have shown to extend beyond animal welfare, and converts seem equally appealed by vegan food’s nature-kind production, health benefits and Instagram-friendly aesthetic. Veganuary has enjoyed a steady increase in participants over the years also thanks to high profile vegans taking part in promoting the cause, and we wonder if this year’s fashion-fronting sign-ups Kat von D and Vivienne Westwood may lure the vegan trend into clothing.
