Nanna Van Blaaderen makes exciting faux fur pieces out of merino wool 3D fabrics.

On our minds is Nanna Van Blaaderen, a designer that makes exciting faux fur pieces out of merino wool 3D fabrics. Heavily rooted in the traditional textiles manufacturing of her home country, the Dutch designer pays tribute to the beauty of nature in natural fabrics, structures and forms. Though not animal-free or vegan-friendly per se, one can argue that her use of natural wool instead of synthetic fibres offers a fake fur alternative that is more environmentally friendly. We love the “Invisible” collection (pictured) – see it in full here.
