Upshift provides a personalised shopping experience – but is it too complicated?

On our minds is Upshift, a new clothes swapping service with personal shopping standards. Born a bricks-and-mortar swap shop in Madison, Wisconsin, Upshift is now going viral with an online service that allows conscious consumers all over the US to take part in a personalised swapping experience. A customer survey on the customers’ preferred brands, styles and measurements gives Upshift the tools they need to hand-pick an edit of swapped-in pieces to send directly to the customer’s door, with complementary shipping labels for the items they wish to swap back in return. The bespoke service also allows Upshift to inspect all garments sent in and dismiss any pieces that are not in a reusable condition. Read more here.
