Locally produced, globally cool. Bobby Kolade has something for the environmentally aware and fashion-savvy.
On our minds is Bobby Kolade, another sustainably-minded brand that nails the conceptual DIY aesthetic around. Founded in 2013, the eccentric Berlin-based label wants to create collections that encourage individuality in dressing while constantly upping efforts to reduce their environmental impact. Almost all pieces are locally produced and the brand operates a strict no fur and leather policy – with the sourcing of alternative materials (such as bark cloth) taking up a large part of the design process. A nomination for the 2015 Woolmark price and stockists like LN-CC are some signs of success to date. Have a browse through the current lookbook here.

The space of which the iconic shoe enters is one where the love of nature takes center stage. Make it last talks to the band about why they always end up with the animals.
