Barneys NY transforms its fourth floor Manhattan penthouse into a Girls’ Lounge for the occasion.
On our minds is the UN-instated International Day of the Girl which took place yesterday. The event, put in place to raise awareness of gender inequality, was snapped up by Barneys NY which supported the cause by decorating their shopping windows with content sourced from women of the public giving their input on the topic. With the hashtag #GirlPossible, the retailer gathered photos and video clips of women finishing off the sentence “Anything is possible when…”, and transformed their fourth floor Manhattan penthouse into a Girls’ Lounge for the occasion.
