One of our favorite shows in London was non-profit Fashion East.
On our minds is non-profit Fashion East’s presentation at London Fashion Week. For SS16, the initiative supporting young British design talents preceded by the likes of Jonathan Saunders and Roksanda Ilincic revealed (if you ask us) one of their best shows to date. This season, the fashion heavyweights making up the selection panel chose Caitlin Price and Jenna Young to showcase their 90s-esque garments merging streetwear and occasionwear, and newcomer Richard Malone whose draped/sculptured designs with an impressive attention to functional detail were made from leftover fabrics. Amason: ”We send files, emails and animals”
With the release of the first single from their upcoming album (and a virtual release party tonight), Swedish band Amason teams up with adidas and the new, more sustainable Stan Smith. The space of which the iconic shoe enters is one where the love of nature takes center stage. Make it last talks to the band about why they always end up with the animals.
