Hedi Slimane is said to be hand-picking the pieces to go in the collection.
On our minds is the breaking news that Saint Laurent is reinstating its couture segment – 13 years on – under the original name of Yves Saint Laurent. Though not yet clear whether the collections will be presented at the couture shows, Hedi Slimane is said to be hand-picking the pieces to go in the collections from commissioned pieces specially made for actors and musicians. In light of the reveal the label released some stunning campaign images giving a taster of what’s to come which have made us confident that YSL couture will pick up just where they left off in 2002 with their final (and absolutely spectacular) SS02 tribute collection.
