Emma leaves the city to go flea market hunting – here are her three favorite spots.
This weekend I paid my very good friend Emma and visit at their idyllic house outside of Stockholm. Emma is one of the most creative people I know when it comes to house decorating. She always has a eye out for really good flea market finds. So our plan was to visit all her goldmines, where she finds all the amazing stuff that you have to pay a fortune for in the city.
On my shopping list (yes I had prepared a shopping list to prevent myself for impulsive purchases I don’t really need) was, serving bowls, a lamp for the living room and a vase. And I have to say I’m quite proud of myself, I found all the things I had listed and I only came home with two other things that weren’t on the list but that I couldn’t resist to buy: a sea shell that I’m gonna give back to the ocean eventually and a little jewelry box.
Here are my top three favorite vintage and antique places from our trip:
Qvartinge Antik, Qvartringe gård
Antik och kuriosa, Gula industrihuset Brogatan 21
Loppis, Laxnevägen 19
My new serving bowls.
My Asian vase and the new lamp.
