I got the Panama hat from a vintage store in Paris.

Took an early morning walk to Mirtos, our nearest village here on the south coast of Crete. My father found this Mediterranean pearl in the early 70’s and says not so much have changed here since then.I’m wearing a fit flare dress from the 90’s. A thrift store find that somehow always manage to make me feel extra elegant. I got the Panama hat from a vintage store in Paris. It also seems to have some magical powers. It has been crushed so many times but rises again when I wear it.

On my feet, tennis shoes from Superga in the very same style as the ones John Lennon and Yoko One wore on their wedding.

Steve Rappaport: My wife and I lived in Mirtos for almost a year in 1971. We go back every few years. We live in New York. I would love to contact your father to talk about it. Maybe you can put us in touch. Thanks
