The brainchild behind Rombaut is a Belgian 26-year-old with a past at Lanvin and Damir Doma.

On our minds is ROMBAUT, the Belgian-born Paris-based label forging the conscious and the conceptual in a genderless play with futuristic footwear. The brainchild behind the brand, Mats Rombaut, is a Belgian 26-year-old with a past at Lanvin and Damir Doma and the self-titled project is his first solo act triggered by a passion for ecologically-sound material innovation. We have kept an eye on the brand for some time and even though we prefer the more wearable designs from previous seasons the new campaign is absolutely beautiful and demonstrates the young designer’s high creative integrity and limitless imagination. See more of it here.
