The Converse campaign deserves praise for highlighting the emotional connection to fashion.

On our minds is Converse’s latest campaign ”Made By You” celebrating its signature Chuck Taylor All Star line. The promotion features hundreds of worn-in and customised Chucks owned by customers and A-list celebrities alike. The brand means that the campaign is an effort to celebrate self-expression around the world by enabling people to showcase what they have done to their pair of the cult sneakers. We feel this campaign deserves some praise for highlighting the emotional connection and storytelling aspects of fashion consumption which positively influence the longevity of a piece of clothing, and we quite like the look of Patti Smith’s pair above.
