On our minds: Yves Saint Laurent + Halston: Fashioning the 70’s
A dream that can be put into context.
We are far from alone returning to daydreaming of sensual 70s style of late, a dream that can be put into context at Fashion Institute of Technology’s latest exhibition Yves Saint Laurent + Halston: Fashioning the ’70s in New York which launched the other day. Juxtaposing the two designers that drove and dominated 70s glamour, the exhibition boasts iconic pieces such as YSL’s safari jacket and Halston’s ultrasuede shirtwaist dress in a visual comparative analysis of their parallell works. Dream on. More here. /Ada Källgren
