Not only does the Max Mara initiative save tons of plastic from going to landfill, it also demonstrates an innovative sustainable outcome from aligning technology and creativity.

We were happy to learn about Weekend Max Mara’s AW14 collection which features garments made with Newlife polyester yarn, a material derived from post-consumer PET bottles sourced and converted in Italy. Not only does the initiative save tons of plastic from going to landfill, it also demonstrates an innovative sustainable outcome from aligning technology and creativity. More here. /Ada Källgren
