How would your mom describe your style?
– Classic, timeless, casual and black.

… what part would she be missing?
– Colour.

Name an element that’s typical for your style?
– Tailored coat or blazer.

Most revolutionary fashion memory?
– YSL, the suit.

In what way is fashion present in your life?
– I work with it.

How do you promote more sustainable fashion for someone who says she’s not into it?
– I feel that people are becoming smarter when it comes to consuming, the consumer wants clothes that last, and good quality. And also that it’s easy to find information.

Would you like for your consumption patterns to be different?
– I don’t shop a lot, only if I find something that l need or like.

Have you ever customized garment you already own?
– Yes, when l had my own label.

Where do you bargain sustainable or second hand clothes?
– In Paris, Florence and London.

What’s the best advice about how to live life in better balance with nature that you’ve ever been given?

– Eat healthy and organic.

If you had a billboard on Oxford Circus that all the shopping crazy people could see, what would you write on it?

– Reflect, eat healthy/organic and mix secondhand with new.

What is your best sustainable / eco-friendly / long term justifiable product?
– Olive oil.

Jennifer Aniston never showers for more than three minutes. What small things do you do in everyday life to care for the environment?
– Nothing at the moment, shame.

So much energy could be saved if we stopped ironing our clothes! How bad is a wrinkled shirt on an office meeting?
– I never iron, i love wrinkly shirts!

What sustainability issue is the keeping you up at night?

– Litter on the street, some people not being able to have fresh water, famine (a lot of food gets thrown away…).

– Charlotte Rampling.

– Nick Knight Studios.
