What we do

Make it last is a creative studio specializing in style and sustainability. With brand consultancy, creative direction and content production at its core, Make it last offers customized solutions for clients aiming to reach contemporary audiences. Make it last sheds light on sustainability initiatives and inspires smart, conscious audiences to make greener, longer lasting choices – and to redefine what the luxury of fashion is.

Seven years into business, Make it last launches its first product. It’s a jacket–a personal interpretation of the classic workwear jacket–and will be the first partnership of a few where Make it last teams up with innovators in the fashion industry to explore possibilities of circularity and local production.

The project started with the material. It’s made with Circulose®, a recycled material from 100% textile waste, and is deadstock from a previous production. In other words, an exclusive resource waiting to be used.

The jacket is made by the team at Fugeetex, a factory in Laxå, Sweden. Fugeetex aims at offering a sustainable solution to three societal challenges: integration, fashion production and textile recycling. It’s a pioneering business model setting example for the future of fashion production.
