We bet Bukowskis, the Scandinavian auction house whose online auctions we frequently browse, are pretty excited about an upcoming theme auction. We are too. A Dane who has collected Hans J. Wegner furniture since he was 13 years old has decided to sell it via Bukowskis. The comprehensive collection includes key Wegner pieces from the Danish golden design era from the 1930s to 1970s, often called ”Danish Modern”. Think lighting, storage furniture, chairs, tables and more. Like the armchair above, the Flag Halyard/Snørestolen model GE 225 (gah!).
The collection will be shown at Bukowskis during Stockholm Summer Design Week between 21–27 August and will be sold online on 28 August. Visit Bukowskis here.
