This week, the Business of Fashion highlights shoe brands that have cracked the code of making ethical shoes that are also money makers. As it seems, it’s sometimes about letting sustainability be the cherry on top and not the main selling point. Sébastien Kopp who is the founder of Veja estimates about 15 percent of their buyers know about Veja’s story; that they work directly with small Brazilian producers making organic, fair trade shoes with exceptional transparency throughout the supply chain (read our interview with Sébastien Kopp here).
