Högsta bud —

Just a quick note on…

The claw hair clip. Still feeling slightly uneasy/amused about the fact that Alexander Wang reintroduced this ‘80s essential on the runway in his Fall/Winter 2018 show, we’re slowly warming up to the idea. As you know, for quite some time this has been something of an “embarrassing accessory”—a relic that got stuck in the bathroom drawer ‘cause it’s “just so convenient” (never mind ugly). It’s a lot like the “scrunchy”, that was banned from all civilized contexts (Carrie Bradshaw’s opinion on the matter simply stuck), until, suddenly, people just started wearing them again (—thanks, Vogue). We guess the same thing is about to happen with the claw clip, courtesy of Wang.
Now, to our point: There must be millions of existing hair clips like these in the world, we mean: everyone used to have them (admit you still do!). So, if feeling an itch to be “on trend”, just this once, it should be super easy finding them second hand, or maybe—at your mum’s.
Let the hunt begin!
