I was looking through some old pictures and found this one from a summer holiday in France three years ago. These dungarees are one of the garments that have travelled the world with me. I use to wear them all the time. But after having Dylan I sort of forgot about, probably since they are not easy to wear when nursing. But seeing this picture makes me remember that they are probably my best garment. They always make me feel comfortable, relaxed and, well, able. A pretty great way to feel, is it not? Do you have a garment that makes you feel empowered? Even though I’ve been working with clothes for more than ten years I still get a bit blown away by what a piece of fabric can make you feel.
