Made in Green

I have been a big fan of Calida for the past 2 years. But for the past 75 years, Calida has stood for lasting value – this also includes sustainability. Made in Green by OEKO-TEX® is currently the most transparent and stringent label available. It allows consumers to trace production details along the delivery chain all the way back to the raw materials, like the turtleneck I am wearing in the pictures. More and more Calida ranges carry the Made in Green by OEKO-TEX® label Voluntary commitment to the highest production standards and maximal transparency. Today, CALIDA was the first underwear brand worldwide to be awarded the “Made in Green by OEKO-TEX®” label. The Made in Green product label is not only issued based on compliance with strict social responsibility and ecological criteria; it also certifies that the textiles carrying the label have been tested for harmful substances.

I was really happy to learn that their entire children’s range has been certified since autumn 2016, and more and more series from the men’s and women’s ranges now carry the seal as well: the majority of their loungewear has been awarded the certificate along with most of the Basic series from the Daily Function line. They are aiming for the entire collection to be certified over the next few years.

This post is a collaboration with Calida.

Reclaimed Wood

I love this handcrafted bowl made of reclaimed wood that we have sitting on our side table in the kitchen. The wood is washed and brushed by hand to preserve all the natural knots and features. I really like wood that has a patina and that has been weathered by time.

Timeless wool sweater, Amour lux. Jeans, old Levis 501.

Blue is subconsciously my favorite color, and the navy uniform has always been a favorite of mine. All of last week I wore this outfit, only variating my accessories and coats. I love these kinds of comfortable clothes that you always return to!
