Living Proof

Tying to lead a more sustainable life, I’ve found inspiration in people that are on the same journey and have the same goals. Alma once said that “having clean hair is not a human right”, and I feel the same about showering every day. So I try to wash my hair as little as possible and shower just when I need it; partly for the sake of the environment, but showering less often is also much better for both skin and hair. In other words: a win-win for all.
So my hair goal the last years has been to wash less and use fewer products. That’s why this brand caught my interest. Even though Living Proof doesn’t have any organic products, I was intrigued by their philosophy. The brain behind it is Dr. Bob Langer, an institute professor at MIT. And the goal for most of their products is to keep the hair clean for a longer time, and thereby reduce the washing. They also have multi-use styling products. Don’t you think that sounds intriguing?
So, I bought the Living Proof shampoo, hair mask and prime style extender and have been trying it for the past month. Already in first week my hair felt cleaner, and also lighter, than before. After two weeks, the shine came back to my normally dull and frizzy hair, and I’ve also noticed that it’s much easier to brush and almost never tangles.
