Notes from a Swedish stylist

The past week I’ve had a sinus infection, and as I’m still nursing, the range of ok medicines is limited. This isn’t too bad though, since I’ve found some alternative ways to treat it.
My favorite remedy so far is the disgusting but helpful neti pot. It’s most definitely the weirdest looking thing I own, and it feels weird—especially if you hate getting water up you nose like I do (weird for someone who loves to surf, right?). But, the neti pot does the trick, enabling me to breath freely through my nose again.
Second on my list is apple cider vinegar and honey mixed in hot water. I don’t know about the flavor (haven’t been able to taste ANYTHING for seven days now) but it feels better each time I drink it. I’m also adding an insane amount of ginger and fresh mint to all my food/water/tea.

If you have any natural remedies—please let me know. Hoping to kick this sickness before next week!
