Spring is approaching fast, so I spent the other day buying plants and seeds for the garden. My favorit one so far is this little lemon tree that I’ve temporarily placed in our living room window. The scent of the flowers makes me want to do a somersault—it’s truly amazing!
I even tried putting one of the flowers in some oil today, hoping that I’ll be able to make my own perfume. Might not work, but if it does, no one would be happier than me.
We also got cucumber, tomatoes and peppers, and as soon as the nights become a bit warmer, I’ll plant some sugar snaps too. I have to say it feels great (so far) to grow my own food. Before, I’ve only done some sprouting, so lets hope I’ll manage to keep these poor plants alive.
