"While we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one." - JK Rowling

I am so tired of reading the news everyday to find that the world is growing darker. There were no terrorist attacks in Sweden earlier this month as you all probably know by now. It was a rather strange thing to say in a speech considering there was absolutely no truth to it. One might ask why this man has to tell lies to prove a point? It is my belief that the truth is generally preferable to lies. Especially for someone that, for the time being, holds the position of president for one of the largest countries in the world. Today I had to remind myself of something a very clever, wise woman wrote, “It is important to fight and fight again, and keep fighting, for only then can evil be kept at bay though never quite eradicated. We need to now, more than ever, stand up for what brave women and men have been fighting for. We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.”
