So much has happened in Dylan’s development in the past two months! All of a sudden he is way more of a toddler than a baby. He’s already crawling around and climbing on everything he can and he loves feeding our dog Stella these little puffed corn doodles every chance he gets (Stella is of course thrilled by this). What was just a little bundle is now a person that has favorite songs and likes to play the piano. His independence is just so wonderful to watch.
I was talking to a friend the other week who has a daughter that is a month older than Dylan. We talked about how – not so long ago – that time where we were stuck in bed nursing a new born felt like it would never end. But it did! And how much we wished that we’d known it would end so we would’ve enjoyed the first months a little more! Looking back now I almost miss him being this teeny, tiny fragile little bundle completely dependent on me.
