A no-hassle DIY project.

The easiest DIY project, we made ourselves a new kitchen shelf this weekend to give us a little more storage. We just sawed a length of wood to slot perfectly on top of the tiles in the window frame, mo drilling or hammering. I gave the wood a natural white-washed look with some pigmented flax that I mixed with some coconut oil to make it more transparent, it leaves a fresh finish that will only look better with age.
