Old and new come together in perfect harmony

Jewelry case, LykaliaK.

This is not only a beautiful piece of handcrafted art, it is actually a jewelry case made entirely out of wood! Stunning is it not? Designer Kristina Larsson, describes it like this: “the starting point of my craft is to create modern home decoration using old techniques and craftsmanship. I use turning and decor in the form of gilding and for me it is important to keep millennial craftsmanship alive.”

I love that by using traditional craft methods Kristina Larsson creates pieces with a contemporary look and feel, something anyone would love to have on their dressing table.
