Felder Felder's 10th anniversary collection includes a dress made from BMW carbon fibre.

On our minds is Felder Felder and their sustainability-focused SS17 10th anniversary collection as showcased at London Fashion Week. Created exclusively with upcycled materials from the brand’s own stock and archives, the Felder twins explained the collection as an attempt to translate their own conscious lifestyles into the brand, naming fast fashion documentary ‘The True Cost’ as a major trigger. Highlights include a 60’s-inspired silver dress made with 100% sustainable carbon fibre from BMW’s electric vehicle programme, which took the duo over 100 hours to make. The material proved perfect for the Felder Felder aesthetic according to the designers themselves, and their aim going forward is to increase demand for sustainable fashion among their young target group.
