Christian Lacroix teams up with high school fashion students to promote textile recycling.
On our minds is Christian Lacroix and his recent team up with high school students in Le Havre supporting textiles recycling. On 15th September, the renowned designer hosted a fashion show in the Northern French seaside town’s city hall after 6 months of working with the students and local clothes recycler Le Grenier. The result? 30 co-created silhouettes designed by Lacroix from garments handed in to the charity and sewn up by the local young fashion students. The event was part of a larger one promoting sustainability cross-sectors named the Positive Economy Forum. Read more here.
