Emma's summer has been different this year – in a good way!
Coaster and napkin, Åhléns. Plate and napkin holder, old second hand finds.
I can’t believe how quickly this summer has gone by! And what a beautiful summer we have had here in Sweden. Our summer has not been spent on a beach as usual, this summer has been all about getting to know Dylan and eating delicious food cooked by André. And today is no different, I am looking forward to an Italian inspired soybean pasta with basil tofu for lunch. I’ll try to post a picture and a recipe here tomorrow!

After twelve hours of horrible pain and laughter, Dylan entered this world!
Where should I start? It’s almost a month since Dylan came into this world. The water brook the 2nd of July just as André came home from work. The whole thing felt like a movie so for a few minutes I just could not stop laughing. Twelve hours of the worst pain I’ve ever felt and (believe it or not some more laughter) out came a 4,2 kilo boy with loads of brown hair and big eyes. The midwife told me the day after that during the last hour she caught me smiling in between the push pains. And I remember that the sun was rising on a bright blue sky as he came.
His full name is Dylan Ellis Stellan Elwin Melin. In Sweden we have a saying that a loved child has many names. Dylan is a name from Wales and means son of the sea/wave, which we thought was a perfect name for a surf baby! Theses first weeks have been all about breastfeeding and getting to know this little person. Some days are easy and some days are pretty hard. But a smile from Dylan takes me to the moon and back.
Now and forever

Emma about one of her favorite garments of all time.
This is another recycled outfit picture from three or four years ago. I got this skirt from my grandfather’s wife a long time ago and it really is one of my favorite garments of all time. It is tailor made and fits perfectly with everything. Also the fit gives you a beautiful silhouette that I would call timeless! If I find some nice fabric I will definitely make a copy of it.

Monki's Tracksuit Is A Possible Game-Changer
To achieve circularity in fashion, recycling methods for blend textiles are key. Monki presents a capsule collection made with the help of the Green Machine – a system separating and recycling polyester- and cotton blends at scale. It's kind of a first, and if the technology can be scaled, it might be a game-changer.
