Special blings that make Ellen Dixdotter smile.

Ellen Dixdotter works as a Marketing Director at Filippa K. She’s been working within fashion and communication for almost a decade, both in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Off duty she enjoys home cooked dinners by her fiancé, red wine evenings with friends, loads of kisses from her one-year-old daughter and to reload with yoga.

Make it last askes Ellen about an Eternal flame – something that has stayed with her and that she cherishes.

What’s the story of this thing?

”My special blings. A couple of years ago I lost some of my dearest jewellery (my grandmother’s father’s wedding ring amongst others) during a flight. My official version is that it got stolen. But in fact it might have been me accidentally dropped it whilst packing… Ever since, I have decided on sticking to my dearest pieces and never let them leave my body. So this little golden family of mine includes my engagement ring, an eternity ring with vintage diamonds, a signet ring in gold that I bought in a small antique boutique in Soho (with a written “P”, simply because there was no “E” available) and a thin delicate golden chain with a small stone, also is bought in New York, in a small gallery for up coming goldsmiths.”

Why is it special to you?

”They’re special enough to add something to my style yet discreet enough to be worn at all times. And they all carry a memory that makes me smile”.
