In honour of her late mother Linda who passed away of breast cancer in 1988, McCartney introduced a new bra to her lingerie offering specially designed to provide comfort to women in the healing process post-mastectomy treatment. By launching the soft dusty pink lace bra, McCartney hopes to help women suffering from breast cancer keep a sense of femininity even after having their breasts removed. This lovely cause is promoted in a campaign fronted by Cara Delevingne in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month this October and all proceeds of the sales will go towards funding a new London centre for people affected by the disease.
