Remake couture continued

We were happy to see an add to the designers using vintage in the couture collections.

On our minds are the couture collections and we were happy to see another add to the designers using vintage fabrics and garments in Ronald van der Kemp’s collection for his new brand RVDK. The designer, with some 25 years in the business, is referring back to his college years for the season with garments made out of deconstructed pieces from his own wardrobe, put in a new context into one or several pieces. When commenting on the collection for STYLE.COM, van der Kemp stressed that the current pace of fashion makes us forget to put the love into clothes – which he is looking to address with the line, envisioned in the “With Love” tags added to each garment.
