My boots from Céline, bought in New York three years ago, are the shoes I want to spend the rest of my life with
What is the thing about shoes? I always put shoes on the “wardrobe pedestal” and really read in to the whole “Great shoes make an outfit” and “You can read a person by their shoes”. And all that might be true, to a point. But for me, really, it’s about how the shoes fit me and my life, my personal style and the season. I love the craftsmanship behind something handmade and a design that works over time. What makes a good shoe? I asked myself that question and started looking in my shoe wardrobe to see if my favorites had anything in common.
First off, and this might not be a great thing from an animal point of view: they are all made of leather. Leather in my book is a material that actually looks better with time and with the right care is something that does not get defeated by either weather nor time. With the right care it is a long lasting material. To learn more on how to reson about leather and how it should be produced read this!
Secondly, all the shoes have a quite classic design. You might even say timeless. They would look just as good today as three years back. I can see my self wearing them five years from now! The sneakers I bought in 8th grade and they have been favorites ever since.

Never underestimate a great pair of pumps. These are not only comfortable, they also make my legs look great! Mrs Prada really produce shoes and boots made for walking.
