"It's been seven years and I don't go anywhere without it."

Danish Veneda Budny started modeling at a young age and has since established herself not only as a model, but also for being a trendsetter, a sneaker lover and for having a great taste for music. Her sense of style, and especially her way of implementing masculine elements in her closet, has made her one of the most inspirational girls in Copenhagen. Traveling around the world, her Eternal Flame is constantly with her to remind her of her loved ones.

Tell us about your Eternal Flame!

– Gold have always been the jewelry I preferred more than silver. In 2008 I realized I wanted to have a little heavier gold chain, a masculine one. I always adored my brothers gold chain with a little Jesus piece attached. My brother got this from my grandmother back in 1995. I always wanted to borrow it from him, but since I knew how much it meant to him, I already knew his answer. One day I asked if I could borrow his chain, since he rarely had it shown. He was always hiding it under his shirt. Surprisingly enough he let me borrow it and since then I’ve kept it on me. Its been 7 years and I don’t go anywhere without the chain around my neck. It is such a big part of me and are extremely special to me, mostly because I’m sure its protecting me.

– The chain is somehow connected to my brother and my grandmother, two very special people in my life. Two people I don’t see enough, thats why this piece is so significant to me.
