Eternal flame: Randa Saome

I will surely pass it on to my future children

Randa Saome is one of the duo brains behind one of Sweden’s currently most coveted fashion brand Altewai Saome. She founded the brand together with Natalia Altewai in 2009 and they have since presented their collections at every Stockholm Fashion Week. Make it last asks her about a piece that she’s valued for a long time – an eternal flame.

”This beloved ring I got from my mother who in her turn got it from her mother as an 18-year-old. The ring is 40 years now, and means the world to me! It was my mother’s favorite ring and she wore it daily before she gave it to me. But it’s also precious to me since it originally came from my grandmother who is no longer with us. I will surely pass it on to my, hopefully, future children but until then I keep on using it myself!”
